Hi @UlbeSpaans , The image you have shared with us presents a lovely sky and shoreline. It captures the qualities you are trying for, but I feel that it has a remote quality that keeps me from being drawn into the scene. If your shooting position had been lower it would have given us access to foreground elements that would bring more immediacy and connection and would help raise the impact to the really nice way you have handled the color and feel of the image.

Ulbe,

I have been looking at this photo for a couple of days now. I really like the composition in how the water mirrors the clouds with the horizon as the mirror plane. I also like the muted colors. We usually tend to oversaturate images thinking they need the punch to be effective, but this is just wonderful. I have been wondering if the top part of the photo is even needed. Have you considered a crop from the top to make it mire of a panoramic and more symmetric as far as the mirroroing goes?
