Savanah Sparrow

A case of when life gives you lemons, made lemonade. I like the painterly feel to the scene, the results of noise reduction on a very noisy image.

Pertinent technical details or techniques:

Canon 7D II; Sigma 150-600 at 600 mm. 1/640 at f6.3; ISO 2000

I also like the painterly feel in this image. Pleasing colors and BG. Nice!!!

I like this, Allen. The size of the Savannah in the frame is just fine with me. I do think I’d crop up from the bottom to about the base of the bloom and then clone it out as the funky out of focus look to the edges of the blossoms doesn’t appeal to me I think the one bud is sufficient accent.

Love the colors, tone and lighting balance in this photo. The softened background makes it work.

@Allen_Brooks . This does have a very nice feel to it. A watercolor effect. I like the composition and the overall balance of the image.

Hi Allen,

I like this one as presented. The leaves on the LH side help frame the subject and the grass seed heads add depth to the scene. Well done…Jim
