Maybe kind of gruesome but I think it fits the theme of ragged & seen better days! This Sea Lion showed up at the inlet to the salmon hatchery in 2017 and looked like it was recently on the losing end of a bout with another Sea Lion. On the other hand, it might have been a case of ‘you should see the other guy’! The good news was that it was surviving and catching salmon. In fact it came back every year and I last saw it last summer (2022). It was healed up but the wound was very recognizable.
