On cold mornings (this one was -5 F) the mists rising from the hot springs at Mammoth are very dramatic. In this case, it’s the shadows of the trees near Canary Springs. (5D3, 24-105 @ 105, 1/100 s, f/16, iso 200, tripod)

Wonderful capture, Mark. I like how the fog and shadows create a diagonal line coming in from the right and then the tree line on the left comes in from the left create a quite a dynamic composition. Very nicely seen.
