Shake it Off #2

I was shooting photos of this gorgeous but sopping wet Brown Bear sow as she was wading around in the tide water catching salmon. At one point she climbed up on this rock and sat down. I was just beginning to shoot a photo of her on the rock when she began shaking the water off. I held the shutter button down until she finished. The whole thing took less than 1 second and I got 10 good frames of the action. This is frame #2. I just posted all 10 frames in the Wildlife Showcase in case anyone wanted to see the rest of them.

Hi Gary, nice stop action with all the water drops and the bear in mid-shake. Good job on the exposure too.

Gary, the flying fir and spray are nicely sharp. I also like the environment, with the gulls and rocks.

Gary, the way you stopped the water splashing off the bear is a winner. It’s amazing how sharp that turned out to be. Excellent capture.
