I like photographing Shells looking for different ways to present them.
The softness and light is something i worked on in editing. There is a delicate side of this photo in some ways i guess.
High ISO shutter 80 F 14 or 16
Gill, this is a neat prospective of the conk shell. The lighting looks nice on the shell. There some areas near the shell that looks like maybe you darkened up to near the shell but is still areas of brightness in the BG that seems like it was missed in your editing, but it might be something you were shooting for. Also, at the bottom of the image, if it were mine I would probably try darkening or removing that tiny bright spot at the edge of the image. I find it a bit distracting. I like this.
Thanks. I vignette the photo a little. Tried to make a delicate look. My editing skills are kinda limited.
My editing skills need to be better too.
Sometimes I over edit and make a mess. Cloning is hard to do to fix hot spots. Iād rather see something a little wonky than an obvious fix.
Just learning and experimenting ā¦.
