Oh this is so inviting to me because it reminds me of many scenes I come across in the kayak. Plus I love a bendy tree. I like the ripples in the water, too. The bright foliage on the opposite bank makes me want to paddle right under. It seems a trifle over-sharpened or over-textured, but that might be the jpeg process. Makes me want a little more summer.

Your picture has the same mood as a painting by Julius van de Sande Bakhuyzen. The soft hues of yellow and green together with the reflections (thanks to the mallard) create a very nice atmosphere. The fallen tree just flows out of the bank. My only suggestion would be to clone out the reed stems in the LRC. Very nice.
