Sitting Duck

Description:

I took this sitting down, hence the title. Pintails are one of my favorites.

A real beauty, David. Pleasing colors and nice and sharp. You handled the water well, adding a further touch of peacefulness to the scene. Nicely done.

Very nice pose, great detail and lovely BG. He looks very relaxed with his tail in the water. I wonder about a slight brightening.

Hi David, I always enjoy seeing them myself, but seems like a rare occurrence. This is a great environmental portrait of the breed; lighting is nice and soft and you’ve placed him in a good position in the frame without any vegetation in the way. The little bit of water dripping from his bill completes the story being told.

They are a pretty duck and you did a nice job of catching this one in a nice relaxed mood. Really nice habitat shot and good job with the colors.

A very good image of the Pintail, David. I like the pose and the background works well.
