Nature has a way of producing the most amazing abstracts, these have taken about 200 to 290 million years to create. These images were taken at the Bouddi National Park where I have spent many an hour crawling around the landscape lost in time.

Happy for any constructive feedback or suggestions.
This is outstanding, Don. The colour palette (almost monochrome) and subdued, diffuse lighting lend to the gorgeous, organic flow of this formation. Your work in post has a nice touch, highlighting the textures and yet maintaining a kind of creamy softness. My only nit would be that dark patch on the lower left, which, in its hard edged abruptness and contrast, pulls my eye. I don’t know how you feel about cloning but it would be relatively easy to do.
Don, another fantastic abstract image from an amazing looking location! What I love about this image is that it could very well pass for an aerial abstract of a river delta. Great patters throughout. Like Kerry mentioned, my only minor issue with the composition is the dark section on the left corner.
Thanks Kerry always happy for nits, I have removed the edge and I see how it does make a difference. Let me know if this is not how you envisaged the fix. Thanks again.
Thanks Alfredo, glad you like it. The location is texture Disneyland, I have shot there at least a dozen times and always return with something new. I have removed the hard edge (posted in my reply to Kerry) … it is certainly an improvement. Thanks again.
I’m really liking the images from this location, Don. This one has my eye wandering endlessly, navigating to and from every corner of the image. You already took care of the one eye grabbing section that Kerry mentioned so now it’s just about exploring. Nicely done!!
