They are usually elegant, Allen, though I do have a few images of one grooming,particularly shaking and fluffing that looks anything but elegant! This one is upholding their image nicely. I like the open beak and the landing pose is great. The whites look very good.

You can never go wrong, photographing Snowy Egrets. Here I am, a Snowy and I own this rookery. Very go control of the whites and the framing is great.

Allen, I just love the Snowy Egrets. This is an excellent shot of him landing and showing off those yellow feet. That open beak is a nice bonus too. Perfect timing on this one. The limb he is going for even helps to frame him in. Excellent!
