I was recently out in the backyard lying in wait for a shot or two at our bird feeder area. It took me a while to finally get this Spotted Towhee lit up by the sun. Worth the wait. Very nice lighting and excellent detail in the plumage. I like the blacks. It does feel rather crowded, but I’m guessing there was something undesirable in front of it.

What a pretty bird, with lovely eyes, Dave. I love how he posed for you. I agree with Dennis, it does feel a bit crowded. Details and color is really nice.

I would echo what everyone else has already said. What a cool pose and nice light in the eye. I don’t think I have one of these in my catalog.
