A Bald Eagle flying in front of snow covered mountains with blue sky and clouds. I thought the scene kind of fits the definition of “majesty”! Taken in early spring of this year at Valdez, Alaska. I may have posted this on the old site but it fits this theme as its one of my favorite photos.

I seem to recall this or a similar image, Gary, but favorites probably have been posted. A lovely image and it’s neat that you were able to use a short enough focal length to keep the background sharp.

This is a fine shot, Gary. The Eagle stands out nice and sharp against the mountains and clouds. The bit of blue sky is a good extra.
…Gary, a wonderful take on this bald eagle. The coiled talons are an interesting viewing or observation point here. The shallow DOF works perfectly in isolating or outlining the eagle from the BG overall.
