Standing Above the Rest

A Mini-Landscape. I shot this naturally occurring hybrid Pitcher Plant in a bog not far from my house in northwest Florida. It took several years for the perfect conditions, but my patience was finally rewarded. It was a bit windy so I raised ISO a bit to be able to shoot @ 1/2000 to minimize any motion.

Really like this shot, Bill. You patience really did pay off, especially to capture these in such stunning light. I really like the sharpness on the main Pitcher Plant and the DOF.

Nothing like that up here in Ontario. We’re just starting our warmer spring weather.
