Other than wishing the tail was fully visible, I liked the look the jay gave me and I liked the background colors as well.

I agree with your assessment on this one, Allen. The hidden tail tip isn’t all that important, and you did a beautiful job on the dark blues and blacks of the jay.

Very nicely captured and rendered. I agree about the tail. Any way to use AI to fix it? I love Steller’s Jays. Don’t see too many, though.

The OOF FG is what it is – and the detail in the jay is wonderful, especially in the dark head! Lovely colors!

Excellent color and detail. Good job on the composition, even with the tail being slightly obscured.
Now these are something I do have in my yard and I see them quite frequently.

Thanks for the Steller’s Jay, we do not see them in Ct. The only nit is the tail. Nice shot.
