Stick`em Up!

Nothing says desert like a saguaro cactus, and I couldn’t resist adding a little humor when choosing a photo to post. I can probably thank the Arizona state bird, the cactus wren, for providing the holes. Taken at Saguaro National Park, way back in 2012. All comments and suggestions are welcome and thanks for viewing.

Nice welcome for this week’s challenge, Jim. Fun photo. I can’t imagine trying to photograph one. Aren’t they very large? And prickly? Hopefully you were using a really long lens. Nicely done.

A fun image, Jim. Looks like some kind of balloon animal with spines!

I agree with Linda and Dennis. Fun image. Looks just like one of those inflatable air dancers!

Great eye to catch that! Too funny!!! Nicely done!

Jim, this is an excellent shot of a very interesting Saguaro. The lighting lets it stand out from the tree behind and the lean is complemented well by the counter slope of the roof line behind it. Cloning or spot removal of that single red bloom against the sky on the left edge would be good.

Wow, good eye Mark, hadn’t even noticed that one.
