Storm's Coming

While on an off roading drive with my son-in-law outside of Las Vegas, I noticed a storm developing at a distance up in the mountains accompanied by the occasional lightning strike. Since we were already stopped for a break, I set my Canon R5 for continuous shooting and took a few sets of images. I got lucky and caught the lightning strike in one of the sets.

Wow, quite the catch, Robert! The mix of very rugged mountain, heavy clouds and lightning look great.

Very nice, Robert. The colors are amazing, especially in the main peak. The clouds add drama and that lightening strike is a great catch! Very well done.

I claim some real luck on the lightning, and thank you for the kind words.

Thank you, so much. As I said I was really lucky to catch the lightning.

Amazing image Robert! The mountains and the clouds are quite exciting on there own but the lighting takes it to another level.

Thank you for those kind words. I admit a lot of luck on catching the lightning.
