Succulent with Child

With temps at -8 F outside, I’m not too keen to walk in the woods. My local greenhouse was kind enough to let me hang out and make some images. I thought this succulent was a good subject with the flower shoot coming out.

Technical Details

Is this a composite: No
Camera: Fujifilm X-T3
Lens: Fujifilm 16-80mm f4

ISO: 25600
Focal Length: 67.5 mm
Aperture: f/6.4
Shutter: 1/32000 s.

As you can see from the numbers above, I goofed a bit on this one. I thought I had my ISO on auto mode but it was actually in High mode. What do you think? Charming film grain look or complete disaster?

This was a 6 image focus stack in Helicon.

I like the idea, but it’s oddly soft and doesn’t have a lot of detail. Instead of the deliberate shot is it, it looks accidental. Understood why you’d want to hit an arboretum. Not sure there are any up where I live so I’m bit jealous.

I like the subject, but feel there is a lot of competition between the two focal points. Not sure what to recommend other than to maybe favor one more than the other somehow.
