Messy BG completely dropped out.

Interesting treatment on the background, Sandy. Almost gives it an illustration look except the detail in the bird and sprig of greenery is too good for an illustrator.

Great composition and detail on this, Sandy.

Oh, he is a beauty. Tell me your secrets on how you rid yourself of the “messy” background. My process would have trouble with the fine points of the green foliage. Well done!

Excellent comp and image… Not sure how much you got rid of, with your PP skills, should this be Photo art?
Otherwise if you had not mentioned and this was just high key, outstanding…
BTW, I like the frames you use on your photos, very nice, I should learn how to do it…

Dan, it’s fine to drop out BG’s, as long as it’s disclosed. That doesn’t make it Photo Art.
There are lots of good frame programs.
I’ll message you a few links.
Sandy

Thanks, Sandy, did not mean at all to disparage your photo, a great look at the bird and very well done, just wondered what went into it…
Thanks for the links/

Good treatment on the BG. This cockatoo looks very nice with the high key presentation. …Jim
