Sunset Color Reflections in Water

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I was able to capture these colorful sunset reflections in the water on the Hampton Roads on Fort Monroe in Virginia. I do not normally photograph these types of subjects but the colorful water spoke to me and, therefore, I took this image.

Specific Feedback

As I said this is not a subject I would normally photograph as I do more wildlife or other nature subjects so any feedback would be appreciated.

Technical Details

Canon EOS 6D Mark II with my Tamron 150-600mm lens.
ISO 1250; 1/20 sec & f/13
Processing with general vibrance, contrast, and a little saturation.

Lori: Well seen and a very pleasing image. Your mention of Hampton Roads and Fort Monroe bring back some memories for me. I was stationed at Langley AFB in the early seventies and very much enjoyed the area. Thanks for sharing. >=))>

Thank you so very much for your very nice comments, Tamar!

Thank you so much for your very nice feedback, Bill! The Hampton Roads area has changed a lot from the seventies. I live near Langley and hear the jets often. .
