I got this shot at during the very last light of sunset at the Merced National Wildlife Refuge. It was a good day. D500, Nikon 2-500mm, 1.4 TC, 1/800th, f/8.0, ISO 800, 700mm, hand held, AI Clear.

An unconventional angle, Dave, but it works very well with the moody end-of-day light. The catchlight, I think, is what really makes it work by just slightly connecting with the viewer.

Nice light, reflection and exposure. I like the natural setting. Wishing for more of head turn towards us.
Nice color and light. Could use a bit of a counterclockwise rotation and perhaps a little more room on the right and left.
