Swamp Sparrow

Image:

Description:

I rarely get swamp sparrows up close as they can be quite skittish except when singing. I had to do a little cleanup with the rubber stamp tool on the RH side due to an OOF small tree trunk and branches. Autumn has arrived and the surrounding marsh and fen lost the green of summer.

Oh how cute. I love sparrows for their energy and action. Finding one in seeming serious repose is different. You could bring up the exposure in the face a bit I think. Since it’s partly in a bit of sun it would look natural and keep our eyes from drifting to the very light branch so much. Maybe bring that down a bit? Lots of terrific detail and delicacy here.
