From Sept. 4 to the 27th, when these photographs were taken. I could see these Double-crested Cormorants had staked out this end of the marsh in Rocky Neck State Park.

Nice images of the cormorants, Peter. I particularly like the second with the wings completely spread.

Nice habitat shot of the cormorants, Peter. I’d go with the first one as more of the face is shown and I like the somewhat darker background colors.

I quite enjoy the repetition of the Cormorants heads in the first one and the repetition of behavior. Nice shots!

I like both of them, Peter. I like the colors and textures in the grasses, they do set subjects off. Nicely seen.
