The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

I spotted the Cormorant setting on the sea wall, as I drove down to the boat launch at Four Mile River. As so often happens, the Cormorant takes off, just as I cleared my car. These are the best frames, of the flight.
Thank you for stopping by.
Ps
I went back into the Nik presets to get this look. (Kodak Elite Chroma 200)

Very good, Peter. I like the wing position in the third one best, but they’re all nice and crisp on the face with good exposure. I like the look of the film style you chose.

Hi Dennis
That you for the comment. DXO PhotoLab 8’s preset Nik film pack, are coming in handy when I need more baseline correction than the stander preset.

Peter, these guys do like to fly off it seems when we photographers show up. Camera shy! :grinning: Nice details considering they didn’t give you much time to react to their take off.

Hi Peter,
Nice flight poses even though the bird seems to be slightly angled away from us. Good variety of wing positions. In the third image, there seems to be an artifact right under the tip of the beak.

Hi Shirley & Allen
Thank you for the comments, I got lucky with these shots. Here is a repost with artifact removed.
Peter

Looks as if you had some nice light. Color and detail looks good. I like the first with the trailing water droplets.

Hi Allen
Thank you for the comment, I just came back for FL.
