Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

So much to see, nearby and far away. I tried to select a few images that I didn’t post here before.
Favorites? Not necessarily, but images that I enjoyed to make and to see again. When I introduced myself at NPN, I said that I am not a photographer, but someone who strolls around and I capture the scenes that touch me. This is a result.

Technical Details

Various lenses, Pentax camera.

A nice representation of what you find compelling and worth stopping for in nature. Choices about composition look good and I like your processing with all of them as well. That curl of bark is especially interesting as I love little scenes like that one.

An excellent group of images, Han. I think you qualify very well as a photographer. These images display an excellent eye for composition

Excellent scenes! Photographer: someone who uses a camera to capture scenes they are drawn to. You qualify as an excellent one! Look forward to seeing more of you in the New Year!

Wonderful images, Han. Yes, it’s an incredible world, isn’t it?

Well, Han, if you’re not a photographer, then neither is anybody else on NPN. Good work

Thank you @Dennis_Plank , @SandyR-B , @Michael_Lowe , @Kris_Smith and @Diane_Miller for your kind comments.
I wish you, and all other members of the community, a wonderful Holiday and all the best for the coming year.

Han, yes indeed a fine collection of photos. While you may not call yourself a “photographer” you take great photos. All four are excellent, but I’m especially taken by the final one. There’s so much detail in the foreground rocks and in the white water, but then the land goes on forever with interesting shapes and colors.

You really did capture a wonderful variety Han. If you’re not a photographer you’re doing a good job of faking it well! Happy Holidays!

Dom, these are excellent images, and a nice variety. You’re definitely “a photographer” if you’re capturing images like these!

Thanks, @John_Williams , @Mark_Seaver and @SandyR-B for your comments. Much appreciated.
