The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I love nature photography of most genres. In the past I’ve focused on small scenes and various nature images. I do take larger landscape images on occasion as well. In the last few years I’ve been focusing on my wildlife photography. While I’m out looking for wildlife, I like to pick out small scenes with my telephoto (200-600) lens. I’ve included both types of images in my 2024 showcase.
Specific Feedback
Any feedback welcome
Technical Details
The majority of the images were taken handheld with a 200-600 telephoto lens on full frame.

Bryan, this is an excellent collection. I especially like the flowing stream with it’s stars and that Raven with it’s mustache…sure do wonder what it was up to. You clearly got the Beaver fresh out of the water and letting the snow go pure white shows that off well.
Very nice, Bryan. I particularly like the first one (I trust those are sparkles in the snow and not hot pixels like I get on my R5 images in dark conditions), and the snowy-beaked raven.
What a great set of images, with a lot of variation regarding subject matter. I like a lot the mood you have captured in your landscape images as well as the specific personality of the different animal species.
@Paul_Holdorf , @Mark_Seaver, @Diane_Miller, @Max_Waugh, @Dennis_Plank, @Ola_Jovall, @John_Williams , and @Kris_Smith, thank you all for the kind words. It’s been a tough year and I haven’t felt very social or active on the site. Being out in nature and photography is one of the few things that helps me feel energized. I had some good opportunities and happy with my results. Always trying to learn and improve. The first image is from a stop to check out a waterfall along the Icefield Parkway south of Jasper. I spotted this amazing scene of the snow upstream of the falls in the shade with the sparkle of sunlight. Glad I spent the time to really look at the scene. This image made it to the 4th round in the 2024 Natural Landscape Awards.
