Description

I have not been that active here at NPN this year. However, these images show my photographic journey during 2024. I have photographed a lot nearby my home in the southern part of Sweden, but the selected images are from the following dedicated photo travels:

  • Härjedalen, Sweden (landscape, macro, birds): Image No. 2 and 5
  • Arctic Norway (landscape): Image No. 9 and 10
  • Lower Schlesia, Poland (abonded castles and hospitals): Image No. 3 and 4
  • Gran Canaria, Spain: Image No. 1, 6, 7 and 8

Technical Details

All images has been shot with Olympus OM-1 and various lenses.

What a great collection, Ola! You’ve really gotten out and about this year. I’m glad you were able to make some “grand landscape” photos, along with your intimate ones.

I’m delighted to see you back, Ola, and hope we will get to see more of your work this coming year. These are all simply lovely, and cover such a range of subjects – very impressive!

This is a beautiful body of work for 2024 Ola. I am loving #3 Corridor for all the lovely pastel colors and the bit of mystery it conveys. My second favorite is #8 sand Dunes because of it’s graphic quality as well as the high key look. The two figures in the distance are key to that image.

Ola, this collection is excellent. As Ed says, #3 is impressive because of the collection of pastels contrasting with the decay. I also particularly like #2, #8, and #10.

Wow, I’ve really missed your photos this year. No pressure. :laughing: Superlative subjects and execution. Fabulous light in pretty much all of them which is what elevates them above what an average photographer might do. Hope you have as much or even more success in 2025.
