2024 Memories

Image(s)

Image Description

Hard to believe another year has flown by… another one for great memories. From a couple of trips to my favorite place to photograph, Death Valley, to two long time bucket-list destinations, Norway and Finland, to another great trip to Caddo Lake, an impromptu trip to Chicago where I got to play with architecture photography, to photographing the Salt River Wild Horses as well as the burrowing owls close to home here in Phoenix. These are just some photos that make me , fondly, remember this past year. I hope you enjoy at least some of them.

Hi Fritz, Looks like you definitely had a year of images to celebrate. Such lovely work. I hope 2025 lets you discover even more…

Fritz.

Nice collection of photographs. Your Death Valley photos have me pinning to go there.

Fritz, it’s an awesome collection! I’m especially drawn to the two “full scale” landscapes (the shore and the cypress swamp, they have and amazing diversity of colors and shapes, well worth looking at repeatedly. That’s not to denigrate any of the others, with their variety of textures and shapes. The architecture shot is very dramatic, with wonderful eye movement.

What a year indeed, Fritz! Stunning collection of memories for you and thank you so much for sharing with your bucket list of images with us. I wish for you many happy trails in the year to come.

What a cool collection Fritz. I love #2, #5, and especially #6. Nice work.

You have a great eye for patterns. The lone tree (with that amazing background texture) is a standout for me.

Such variety - all superb! Take a bow like that little owl, and Happy New Year!

What an eclectic collection, Fritz! The little owl looks like a ballerina striking a pose. The snowy scene is fascinating - the figure vs. ground keeps switching for me. Looking forward to seeing more of your work in 2025.

Thank you, Mark; much appreciated. It was a good year for travel photography. Lucked out with weather and light in the fjords of Norway, and Caddo Lake had some days with un-littered water. The invasive water plants there usually create a huge problem, so it was a treat to have clean reflections. The architecture photography in Chicago was a lot of fun. Happy New Year!

Thank you, Youssef. Death Valley is my favorite place to photograph. the last couple of trips in particular were quite productive. Glad you like them.
Happy 2025.

Really well done Fritz; what a great year. Happy New Year!

Fantastic images! The little owl and the horses standout for me, but just a tiny bit more than the others.

Thank you for your kind words, and my apologies for not answering sooner. This year is flying by way too fast…
