Chris, What I posted is literally a 3 minute sketch to show tonalities/style. It was by no means a finished image.
I must have missed that original post. Apologies.
I like the high key nature of the original color version and subtle contrast Igor. Excellent detail and textures throughout.
Thank you for choosing this, Eva.
I’m a little with @guy here but only on dropping the cloud shadows to make the pattern more evident. Otherwise the exposure and composition are excellent.
Patience is virtue, it definitely paid off here. An outstanding picture you made. I don’t think it’s under exposed. Love the composition and tones. Great work.
Well, you have done it again! An amazing, riveting image. Since I’m not much of a landscape photographer, I can’t comment as the others have, but I DO know an exceptional image when I see it. I also enjoy your going through your thought processes when creating this image, and very much appreciate the critique of others of the great landscape people here. I think I prefer the colour version with the subtle colours, but both are masterful.
A stunning image - congrats on the EP!
I love the original color version and find it more subtle than the B and W ones. The soft rolling clouds in the BG set off the fortress beautifully, and the colors are exquisite. A special shot.
