That’s one gaudy dude, Dan. Looks like they might be very closely related to our Wood Ducks. I like your nice low angle.
Totally over the top, these ducks, but a great subject nevertheless. I assume in Oregon they are introduced? The ones we have here are for sure - only saw the ‘original’ once in Japan. Either way, a well-executed shot showing the duck at its best ! Cheers, Hans

Even if you had to set in the water, this shot would have been worth getting all wet for. From the eye contact to the great detail and coloring, you have given us a GREAT PHOTOGRAPH.
