About This Image
The mares were coming in from the open paddocks and feeling a little frisky. I love the interaction of horses.
Feedback Requested
I don’t mind the poses of the horses, but the awkward, straight shadow seems confusing.
Any comments greatly appreciated.

I haven’t done any “arty” shots with filters for quite some time. Is the effect too nuch?
An unconventional composition that I really like, Glennie. I’m not finding the shadow you mentioned, so I guess it’s a not-issue with me. I find the filters you used interesting and, in this case, quite effective. A beautiful image.
Very interesting!!! If you are referring to the hard shadow line toward the right, just left of the mane, I would soften it a bit, as it echoes the other hard line on her neck below her eye. I’d soften both as I can’t see where they are coming from. The treatment is lovely – you should do more of this sort of interpretation – you do it so well!
Thank you @Diane_Miller and @Dennis_Plank !
The shadow is the one directly to the right of the lower horse’s ear. It just seems so angular. I’v e seen it and can’t unsee it. I might have a play with softening as per Diane’s suggestion.
