The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

This is a heavily skeletonized piece of backlit leaf. The leaf was pretty big, Maybe ten inches long and four or five inches across.

Specific Feedback

Not sure about the slightly OOF URC.

Canon 7DMii, f11, 1/160 sec, iso 400, -1 EV, 100-400/1.4TC at 222 mm. Appx. 30% of original frame.

Ed, wow really cool shapes and patterns in your image. The patterns jump off the screen with their mosaic qualities. Yes about the OOF URC. I do wish that was more in focus. A square crop may help here to eliminate that area. The lines remind me of trails or a ridgeline.

The backlighting works very well to emphasize the vein pattern. The OOF area does not bother me.

Very cool, Ed. I think cropping to avoid the upper right corner would be a good way to go with this.

I appreciate your comments and suggestions on this @Alfredo_Mora, @Bill_Pelzmann, and @Dennis_Plank. I’ve added a cropped version that I applied minimal cloning to, trying to match the area nearest along the Right side.

Wonderful texture and nice lines. Almost looks like rust. I do like the cropped version best.
