I want to thank Sandy Richards-Brown for reaching out to me.
After I came back from Florida, I started a conversation with one of my Parkinson"s Rock Steady Boxing members, about how different it is to photograph birds in Florida, then in Ct. That led to the question of websites, which sent me down the rabbit hole. I finally settle on SmugMug, because its’ users are photographers. You wouldn’t believe how long it takes to setup a website, whenI had no idea what I was doing. At this point I have posted about 1/3 of the photographs I hope get on the site. That was the easy part.
Now came Pat’s dedication.
Hi
The www.poppinaturephotography.com website is dedicated to Pat, without her support and encouragement this would not have been possible. For the past 12 years, Pat had encourage my membership in the Nature Photographers Network " A world wide, premiere site of nature photographers" Each photograph posted to the site is critiqued by the network member and this learning process has helped me understand what’s is required to photograph birds in their natural state.
I hope you enjoy the photographs and you are welcome to visit http://community.naturephotographer.network/u/peter/activity/portfolio.

Patricia (Pat) left us on March 15, 2024.
Sorry to hear about your loss Peter. Lovely images!
Great portfolio and website presence, Peter!
Setting up a website is a very time consuming activity when done correctly, Peter. This looks like a very nice one. Your home page image is superb.
Peter - I meant to comment on your website awhile ago, but failed to. It’s excellent and Pat’s memorial photos are lovely. They are a loving tribute to her, whom I’m very certain was an irreplaceable part of your life, and a delightful lady.
Your photography is also a memorial to her, since she was succh a strong support.
I’m looking forward to your 2025 images, and far beyond…
Thank you.
Peter - what a beautiful collection of birds. It makes me want to visit all those places.
It’s a lovely way for you to keep Pat’s memory alive - I shall visit it often.
OMG Peter! That osprey with the fish in its talons with its mouth open says it all! What an amazing shot you got with that one! The rest of your website is also great, just that one photo stood out for me.
Peter, thank you for sharing. You have a wonderful collection of bird photos, but also a nice tribute to Pat as well. I know you are still missing her.
Hi Mike, Keith & Shirley
