Description

This is an edited version of the previous post. It’s been cropped and the background minimally refined. The one thing that isn’t working for me is the crease in the top (right) petal. I may smooth that out.

Hi Susanna. I’m not sure what you mean by the crease, but I think the simple geometry of the magnolia bloom really wants to be emphasized so you might want to consider cleaning up the area between the two lower left petals and removing the small gray wedge of petal on the lower right (image attached with outlines for reference).

Thanks, Dennis, I’ll work on it. I did originally want some context, but context that works. I’m hearing that it doesn’t!
