The world in a window

Critique Style Requested: Standard

The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.

Description

This early digital image is definitely not a flashy nature image but I love it both for the contrasting lines and textures as well as the many small reversed reflections in the beads of water. Condensation is a sort of hidden part of the water cycle that I find well worth looking for, even if in such obvious examples as this.

Oh, this is cool. What really makes it for me are the different levels of water-drop size in the verticals. The reversed reflections in the drops aren’t very visible to me, even looking at 100%. Probably the jpeg version isn’t as clear as the original.

@Bonnie_Lampley, thank you. Every droplet reflect the sky (white) on the bottom and the ground (dark) on the top, no matter the size! I know you often see this in closeup photos of water drops that show more detail.

Definitely cool! It grabbed me right away but I was away for a few days with no time to comment. The thumbnail gives the feeling of tree trunks in fog. Then the enlarged view reveals a wealth is interesting detail. Very well seen and presented!
