Image Description

Early morning sun breaks through heavy cloud cover to light up the offshore rocks and form a rainbow against the storm clouds.

Canon EOS 5D; Canon EF 16-35 mm @ 16 mm; f/22 @ 1.6 sec, ISO 100; Gitzo tripod, RRS BH 55; remote trigger.

You may have noticed I posted this series of images in reverse order, except for the first, Three Arch Rocks. You can now view all in ascending order . Anything you now wish to comment on, positive or otherwise is welcome. I believe your questions have been resolved.

Hi Bob,

Aside from the rainbow, this photo has more going for it with the rushing water in the foreground. But I would try to get even more brightness in the rushing water to get more of a dynamic feel to the photo.

Thank you @Youssef_Ismail for your opinion. Perhaps I could simulate a split neutral density filter, but I believe the foreground will get blown out easily.
