I submitted three of my favorite images from 2025: one after the storm clears in Death Valley, another in the fog among the trees on Cape Perpetua and the final looking over the lupin next to a Cascade lake under the Milkey Way.

Pertinent Technical Details
Submitted 3 images, all shot on my Nikon D850 with my 70-200, w low ISO on my tripod. The only exception is the Milky Way where I used Starry Night Starstacker, stacking a dozen or so shots at 2.8 w/ ISO 4000.
These are three fine views, Dudley. I like how the layers and how the distant peak is partly obscured in the Death Valley shot. The foggy trees fade well into the distance. The Milkyway looks good with an interesting foreground, although I would clone out that bit of tree poking in on the right edge.
All three of these are fine, Dudley. I particularly like the first and second ones. The dunes against the mountains is great and you really captured the feel of the forest in the second.
