The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
This image is from a trip earlier this year to the Wilsons Promontory National Park in Victoria, Australia. I came across the scene while walking along the very wide river bank of tidal river, due to a receding tide which had left these interesting ripples behind. I noticed the reflection of the sunlit clouds in the river bank and deliberately under exposed the image to make the already dark ripples in the sand appear darker and to maintain the rich colour of the clouds, creating a contrast between the two.

Technical Details
Taken at 70mm f/16, cropped to 4x5 in lightroom while slightly lifting the shadows and increasing contrast.
Keenan,
Great eye to see this. Those ripple patterns are awesome! Combined with the warm/cool colors of the reflection, this is quite beautiful!
Excellent job with the processing. I think the contrast and colors/saturation are spot on. Also, I like the sharp details front to back. And I think it’s especially important in the lower part of the image where those patters are so prominent.
Not really an issue for me, but am wondering about the brighter white areas of the reflection the UR. I suppose the whites could be taken back a little, but of course you don’t want to lose any contrast. Minor point anyway.
Beautifully seen, captured and presented.

This is very nice, Keenan! I love the luminosity of the reflected light and how it’s overlaid over the pattern in the sand.
Beautifull all the way from low to high. I love the structure, the simplicity and the trend of the light increasing the luminosity from the base to the top following the main diagonal. I like also the stronger light in the TRC where the trend ends I only wish to see a bit f color. Excellent work.
All said above – I’ll just add another gold star! I like the brighter area in the UR but it does pull my eye. I wonder, instead of pulling it down a bit, about lightening the darker area in the upper left – just a bit?
