Critique Style Requested: Standard
The photographer is looking for generalized feedback about the aesthetic and technical qualities of their image.
Description
I decided to post another angle of the pier… I look at the beams that hold up the pier and they may have been a lighter color naturally Not really sure… This style of photography is really interesting and will take lots of practice.
Specific Feedback
Not sure of the angle and my framing. The Tone of the image could improve !!!
Technical Details
90 second shutter speed ISO 50 f 25 edited in photoshop … I did use my burn and dodge tool on the water to make a little more contrast but try to keep it natural…

I think this is very cool!! Shapes and tonalities are very pleasing – only one not – the horizon looks like it needs to be leveled and a quick screen scroll shows that is the case.
Another cool take on this pier, Gil. I can see lots of compositions possible from this structure if it’s readily available for you to shoot.
OK – that fixed it and to me makes it perfect!! You could put it in the OP above the old one so it will be the one that shows in the thumbnail.
I dont know how to put this image image in the correct place.
At the bottom right of the original post (just above my first reply) click the pencil icon. That gives you an edit view of the post. Just click at the top (or wherever desired) and drag and drop the newer image there. You can always edit posts that way. Then up in the title part, add something like + RP to the title.
BTW – I think you’re doing some very cool stuff!!
I think I messed up and not sure what to do. Oh well. If you or an editor fix my mistakes. Take care.
I think I got them in the right order at the top, Gil.
