I like the feel and the black and white take on this image, Gill. The point leading out of the frame on the right feels a bit awkward to me and I think I’d probably crop in some on that side, but it’s your image.

I didn’t want to crop out the ghost image It needed some room. Thanks for showing interest.

I love the image, particularly the “ghost”. I do have a question, when I take long exposure moving water images, I get a very cotton candy images, at 90 seconds i would expect more smoothing of the water. Was the surf very rough?

Waves were coming in out pretty quickly. This was my first ND 10 stop shoot and see what happens. It’s a real learning process and huge learning curve. I flew by the seat of my pants. I used manual shutter speed with a cable counting the seconds like they did years ago. I shot the pier( common photography images) to have moving water and something stationary.
The water can look different on how fast it’s moving. Adjusting for the light was tricky. But I got a few images. There are two more in my images on the NPN.

Thanks for showing interest The NPN is a great place to show your image ideas and get feedback.
