Very cool, Sandy. Great job bringing out just a hint of detail in the dark plumage without overdoing it. I always love an upside-down pose-“gravity optional”.

Nice job balancing the darker/lighter/brighter color schemes in this without blowing out the lights while still bringing out some good definition in the darks. I love the upside down position. Do you know what kind of pods the toucan is trying to eat?

Hi Sandy, great pose you captured and that huge colorful bill is something else. The bird contrasts well with the other elements in the image. Nice exposure too.

Excellent capture – intriguing subject, composition and action, excellent tonalities and DOF. Looks like he’s carrying around an industrial-grade nutcracker.

@Ed_Williams I believe this is a Copuassu tree, the national fruit of Brazil. It’s related to the Cacao tree.
