I recently posted a shot I got of this Gadwall coming in for a landing and I thought I’d also post this shot a got in the same sequence a moment later just as it touched the still water in the first light of day.

Does the slight from the rear angle still work?

Is this a composite: No
D500, Nikon 200-500 lens, 1/2500th, f 5.6, 500mm, ISO 750, hand held, cropped to 3065 x 2241. I got rid of a little water surface junk.

Stunning! The angle works for me to show the top of the wings so nicely. And the frozen “decisive moment” is just perfect! The even color of the water is wonderful and unusual. No nits.
