Nice catch, Allen. These are common enough in some areas up here, but I’ve never gotten one. The larger image is looking just a bit soft around the face like the AF didn’t grab the eye.

Beautiful warbler Allen. I like the surroundings of this shot with a good sense of habitat. A good view of the upper part of the bird even though I see the softness Dennis mentions.

Yes, a couple seconds is all we get sometimes, isn’t it? It can be frustrating. M might be a bit soft but i like the environment and habitat.

Allen: very nice composition and capture of the bird’s environment. The bird is a bit soft and it looks like the camera caught the pine needles on the right.
