What a stunning photo. I would not change a thing if it were mine. I know the feeling of getting a shot of a colorful, rare visitor. Nothing better. This looks like a “wall-hanger” to me.

This is a really gorgeous shot. The colors are great, the bird is perfect. I don’t really see anything I would change.

Lovely portrait!
Nice pose, colours, and the reds and greens set the bird off well. Fine as is, but I might suggest getting rid of the distracting (to me, at least) OOF foreground pinecones.
I like your framing too - IMO, frames complete an image.

Really nice catch here, Allen. Great environmental look and smooth background. Nice pose from the Warbler too. Excellent.

Wonderful shot! But I think you could strengthen it even more with a crop from the bottom. If there is a squeak more canvas on the left that could be good, too. The large cone on the left balances the bird but feels crowded as framed here.
Just an idea:

Gorgeous image, Allen. I love the perch and the pose from the warbler is great. Lighting is excellent as well.

Thanks, Sandy. I think I got the idea of framing from you way back in NPN 1.0. I like the effect of frames, as long as the bird isn’t flying into it.
Thanks, Diane. I like your idea. Puts a bit more emphasis on the warbler, but still retains the environment.
