Description

Decided to post this Image as well. We had warm weather here in North Carolina over the holidays. Gave a real different look and feel. So I went for a walk and shot a few images. Post them for fun … Photography has really changed for me over the last couple years. Try to capture an image that makes me feel something.. The weather, the look, even the smell that a morning or evening can give. Winter can be harsh and that look. Keep it honest and fun !!!

Specific Feedback

Tried to have that BG and Foreground kinda look on this one. Real and Honest. Love to walk and feel what I see. To really Look and Breathe !!! Hope I am not being Corny. It’s just some thing I have experienced lately …

Technical Details

ISO 1600. Shutter 400 f16 edit in Photoshop. Burning and Dodging . some cropping and contrast adjustments. Keep it as natural as I can.

I love what is happening in the bottom half of this image, where the mist gives the BG trees the look of a double exposure. You could have a twofer here, where cropping off the top third or so makes that much more prominent and gives a more cohesive (to me) organization of the limbs.

Interesting idea on cropping. Crop the way you see it. Your vision. And post it. Give this image a different feel. That where my head it at these days. How the image looks and makes you feel.
