Under water

I had a first glimpse at spring at the Plitvice natural reserve in Croatia a few weeks ago. Plants and flowers grew by inches overnight. My second day exploring the beauty of the place was overcast, providing me with the light of a giant soft box.
The parc itself consists of a series of lakes overflowing in each other, which means a succession of waterfalls. Visiting off season meant my travel companion and myself had vast stretches of beautiful nature almost for ourselves. Flowers were springing up in the most improbable places and as they were the first ones this year, we had to look out for them.
Looking for more than mere registration, the choice fell upon the reflection of a budding waterplant, reflected in one of the lakes.

Xavier, I’m a big fan of reflections. This one separates the reflection well from the background (pond bottom). I wasn’t there so I could be wrong, but the greens seem too strong to me. I do like the mix of sharp and blurred due to the water motion.

Xavier: I was wondering about the implied movement until I read that this is a reflection. That makes it more intriguing and interesting for me and invites closer scrutiny and greater appreciation for your discovery and creativity in the capture. Most excellent. >=))>
