On the first day of our trip to Denali NP back in August we did the Savage Alpine Trail and we were lucky we did because the snow on the mountains you see here was gone the next day and a bear that was apparently stalking hikers so the trail was closed the rest of the time we were there.
The hike was spectacular with these amazing views of the mountains with mixed light and wildlife.

Is this too dark? Too blue? What else can I do to improve this image?

It’s been a while man! Hope you and the family are doing well!

I think the processing here is pretty solid. As I’ve stated before, when I see light in a scene like this, I want to be able to feel the light! I’m not feeling the light here Glenn! There is room to bright those highlights up in those areas. Just have to finesse them. Where there’s darkness there’s light! Hit those mid tones, and push that luminosity to bring out that light on the hills! I will attach a sample image for reference. Hope this helps.

Thanks for your honest critique DT! I struggled a bit with this image, I think I need to be little more heavy handed with the contrast. I almost always get to a point where I think it looks good and then I post it and it looks flat. I like your edit and will work on it some more. Thanks again
