One of my favorite roses, especially on a day to commemorate Our Armed Forces vets. A twelve image focus stack

Phil, a wonderful image and an equally wonderful message!

Gorgeous photo, Phil. The image stack has stunning detail.
A very fine tribute to all who have served and those who are still serving in our military…:+1:

Excellent details and a nice tribute…
I might have removed the far OOF leaf before you shot.

Dan, not my flower. The Botanical Garden lets me shoot all I want, but they don’t want me doing any gardening. FWIW, I agree with you.

Very appropriate, Phil. Excellent stack. The background leaf is a bit of a pain, but not unduly so. Have you ever tried a teleconverter with the 180 mm? I never have with my Canon 180, but I’m curious what the results would be. You could have gotten rid of the distracting leaf that way.

Beautifully done and a fine tribute.

Thank you to all that have served and sacrificed!

Phil
Gorgeous photo of this flower and great idea to post it on Veterans Day

Thank you for remembering the veterans, Phil. What a gorgeous image! I feel like I should smell the rose, and if I should touch it I would get my fingers wet!

Nice placement of the rose in the frame. And the dew on the petals makes it extra special.
