Technically perfect. The stack is not noticeable at all and I have devoured the large view for inspection…
A nice attractive BG to match.
A personal preference for me would be to lower the light a bit.

This is gorgeous, Phil. I can’t see any artifacts and I love the light coming through the structure of the leading petal. If you really need a nit, I do have an aversion to orphaned thorns and twigs at the edge of the frame and you have one thorn I’d probably remove.

Phil: Beautiful bloom superbly rendered. We have some of these hybrids that are amazingly hardy. One of them is loaded with buds so if the weather cooperates in the next few days maybe I’ll have something to shoot. Very nicely done.>=))>
