Ben, this is a great entry. I like all of the whiteness with only the gate being dark. The subtle darker textures in the foreground are a good touch.
Very pleasant mood and abstract nature.
Perfectly stark and bleak.
A gate unneeded,
as winter’s snow smothers all,
and nowhere to hide.

A really nice abstract with just enough detail in the “blank” areas of the frame. Despite the gate being out of service I’m still invited to go through it to see what’s on the other side. Love both haikus too!
