Our Hawaiian Punch hibiscus weathered the hot summer and is now reveling in the cooler fall temperatures. I liked how the filtered sunlight cast some relatively soft shadows. All comments welcome. >=))>

Bill, the details in the center parts of an hibiscus flower are always striking. This look shows those parts off beautifully, enhanced nicely by the shadow and the surrounding wash of color.

This turned out really well. The shadow is a great twist on the flower image.

A beautiful color hibiscus, Bill. I agree with Mark about the center of the flower and the shadow. Very nice.

Stunning, with wonderful DOF and great color! Good seeing!

Bill, Striking color of the hibiscus. I like the way the center looks and the details on stylus and the anthers. The shadow adds to the image.

Its just not fair that you still have flowers blooming in November. Stunning image and color.

Patricia: I’m thoroughly spoiled by the sunbelt. Flowers that survive the summers often bloom prolifically in the fall when the weather cools off. It’s not as exciting as the spring when everything is new and blooming but this is a good time for our garden.
